From an early age, Kristi Copson knew she wanted to become a nurse. Helping others was not simply a concept in her household—it was a core value woven into everyday life. Her grandfather, affectionately known as “Papa,” was her greatest role model. Through his actions, he demonstrated the importance of treating every person with respect, compassion, and dignity. He welcomed those in need, volunteered freely, and offered kindness to everyone he encountered. His example revealed how caring for others can create a lasting impact and ultimately guided Kristi toward a career in nursing.
