About

John grew up in Central Massachusetts and enlisted in the Air Force after high school, serving six and a half years in the Air National Guard. He developed leadership and organizational skills as a medic and was named "Airman of the Year" in 1989. His military service also allowed him to begin a civilian career at Comcast in 1986, where he held various management roles for nearly 24 years.

In 2000, John and his spouse moved to Gloucester, Massachusetts, where they launched Beach Gourmet, a successful catering business. What started as a weekend venture quickly became the most sought-after catering service on Cape Ann, leading to deeper community involvement.

In 2009, after taking on the responsibility of caring for his aging mother-in-law, John transitioned into the senior living industry. He joined Atria Senior Living as a Sales Director in 2014 and later moved to Northbridge Senior Living in 2015. Over the next nine years, he held multiple leadership positions, including Senior Executive Director overseeing the opening of The Mariner, an 87-apartment senior living community in Marblehead. In 2018, he was named Executive Director of the Year by the Massachusetts Assisted Living Association.

Currently, John serves as Executive Director at The Delaney at The Vale in Woburn, where he continues to apply his leadership expertise. He is married with adult sons, five grandchildren and his two Labradors, Ginger Rodgers and Fred Astaire. John enjoys walking the beach, exercising, traveling, and spending time with family and friends.

Jackie brings a wealth of diverse experiences to her role as Director of Sales & Marketing. With a background spanning technology sales management, entrepreneurship, and senior living community leadership, Jackie’s journey reflects her dynamic approach to life and work.
Originally from the South Shore, and a graduate of St. Anselm College in Manchester, NH, Jackie’s professional path has included various roles in technology sales management, where she honed her skills in relationship-building and strategic planning. Her entrepreneurial spirit also led her to own and operate a thriving dance studio in New Hampshire for a decade. Through this venture, Jackie not only fostered a love for dance but also cultivated a strong sense of community.

After raising her family in southern New Hampshire, Jackie moved to Florida, where she discovered her passion for senior living through her own experiences with her mother. Her time in Florida enriched her professional expertise and allowed her to immerse herself in the vibrant culture of senior living as a Sales Director for a national company. When she learned of a property acquisition in New England, Jackie made the proactive decision to relocate once again—this time to open a new community and promote the benefits of senior living in her native region. Her dedication to fostering strong connections and promoting a vibrant community inspired her to embrace this opportunity wholeheartedly.
As Director of Sales & Marketing at The Delaney at the Vale, Jackie is committed to creating meaningful connections and enhancing the lives of residents in the heart of New England. With her extensive background in sales management, entrepreneurship, and senior living, Jackie Lemoine embodies resilience, adaptability, and a genuine passion for community building.

Now back in New England with her three beloved dogs, Jackie balances her professional responsibilities with her passion for teaching tap dance classes. Her commitment to enriching the lives of others extends beyond the workplace, as she finds joy in sharing her love of dance with her community.

Kristyn has worked for The Delaney since the fall 2023. She has worked in senior living since 2017.  As Director of Resident Engagement, she is responsible for developing programming that helps our residents maintain a strong quality of life. Here at The Vale, we focus on 8 Dimensions of Health and Wellness, which include social, vocational, emotional, spiritual and physical, to name a few! To meet this objective, Kristyn focuses on activities that are resident-driven, senior-centric, and diverse. She wants a calendar filled with fun, learning, travel, and exercise! She enjoys senior living because it allows her to help people continue pursuits that they enjoy.

In her free time, she likes to be at the beach, craft, read, and hang out with her college-aged kids (when they have the time!).

Alan has been working for The Delaney since October 2023 and has been in senior living for 7 years. He is responsible for Plant Operations, which includes maintenance and housekeeping of the community. He enjoys senior living because he loves seniors, getting to know people and hearing their life stories.

In his free time, Alan enjoys motorcycles, boating, camping, golfing, and carpentry.

Bellando Viciere is an accomplished healthcare leader with extensive experience in business development, marketing, and strategic growth across the senior care and healthcare sectors. With a strong foundation in leadership and community engagement, he has built a career focused on expanding access to high-quality care, strengthening referral networks, and driving sustainable organizational growth.

After graduating high school, Bellando pursued a business education at the University of Massachusetts Boston, laying the groundwork for a career that bridges operational strategy with relationship-driven healthcare development. Throughout his career, he has held multiple leadership roles, including serving as a Head of Department at Boston Children’s Hospital, where he contributed to operational excellence at one of the nation’s leading pediatric healthcare institutions.

Bellando later transitioned into business development roles within post-acute and senior living care, including his work with LCCA, where he focused on promoting skilled nursing and assisted living services. His expertise also extends to community-based aging initiatives. He has served as a Board Member of the Council on Aging for the Mayor and provided leadership for the Aging Well Program at Mystic Valley, further demonstrating his commitment to advancing care for older adults.

In addition to his professional achievements, Bellando is a lifelong soccer enthusiast and former player, bringing the same teamwork, discipline, and competitive spirit from the field into his leadership approach. He is fluent in four languages, enabling him to connect meaningfully with diverse communities and stakeholders.

Bellando is known for his strategic vision, collaborative leadership style, and passion for improving healthcare outcomes through innovation, community partnerships, and patient-centered care.

Ann Cardenas is a dedicated and accomplished Director of Memory Care with extensive experience in nursing, senior living leadership, and therapeutic programming. Currently serving as Director of Memory Care at The Delaney at The Vale in Woburn, Massachusetts, she specializes in creating personalized, cognitively stimulating environments that promote emotional well-being, social engagement, and quality of life for residents living with dementia and other memory-related conditions.

Ann excels in leading interdisciplinary teams, developing individualized care plans, overseeing activity programming, ensuring regulatory compliance, and managing budgets, all while fostering strong family relationships and community connections. Her innovative approach includes designing tailored therapeutic activities, coordinating special events, training staff, and implementing efficient admissions and operational processes that support both resident care and organizational goals.

With a strong foundation in clinical care before transitioning into specialized leadership, Ann has seen firsthand the impact of authentic, individualized storytelling and purposeful engagement in memory care. Whether designing therapeutic programs, supervising dedicated teams, or collaborating with interdisciplinary partners, her focus remains on dignity, joy, and meaningful living for every resident.

Ann holds a Bachelor of Science in Nursing and a Master of Science in Computer Science. She is a Certified Assisted Living Administrator (CALA) and has completed advanced training in RN Supervision of Assisted Living Services (SALSA). Her professional certifications include the National Council of Certified Dementia Practitioners (NCCDP), Montessori for Dementia Engagement, Nursing Leadership, and additional specialized programs.
